BSH unveils Bosch and Siemens brand store in Kolkata

BSH Home Appliances, a subsidiary of BSH Hausgeräte GmbH and global leader in premium home appliances, has launched its first exclusive Bosch and Siemens brand store in Kolkata. Located in the upscale Dhakuria neighbourhood, the store signifies BSH’s strategic push in East India, a region where it has recorded a 26 per cent CAGR between 2019 and 2025.
Spanning 1,450 sq ft for Bosch and 850 sq ft for Siemens, the new showroom is operated in partnership with Multi-Channel Electronics. It offers customers a hands-on experience of BSH’s latest innovations, including AI-enabled ovens, high-capacity washing machines, built-in refrigerators, and advanced dishwashers.

The Siemens iQ700 oven range and Bosch HomeConnect steam ovens are among the flagship offerings. The store also features Bosch’s popular small domestic appliances, such as Trumixx mixer grinders, coffee machines, and vacuum cleaners.

East India has emerged as a key growth zone for BSH, with a 25 per cent increase in regional sales in 2023. The dishwasher segment alone grew by 27 per cent in 2024, driven by rising awareness around hygiene and convenience. Notably, washing machines with capacities of 8 kg and above saw 80 per cent year-on-year growth, bolstered by focused initiatives across FAFL, ATL, and SATT channels.
Commenting on the launch, Saif Khan, MD & CEO of BSH Home Appliances India, said, “Kolkata, with its blend of cultural heritage and modern aspirations, has always been a city of evolved consumers. The new brand store reflects our commitment to bringing global innovation and design excellence closer to homes here.”
The launch further strengthens BSH’s footprint in East India and aligns with its broader retail expansion strategy. Nationwide, BSH supports its customers through 16 branch service offices, over 350 authorised service partners, and a trained service network of more than 1,500 technicians.
