Cleo County project draws inspiration from Egyptian architecture

Confluence, an award-winning design firm with 25+ years of experience in innovative architectural, interior and landscaping practices specialises in transforming built environments, from residential to hospitality and beyond, using cutting-edge design approaches. Its project Cleo County, which draws inspiration from the grandeur of Egyptian architecture and pays homage to the legendary Queen Cleopatra, is a high-rise group housing project in Noida that offers 2638 residential units.

The development offers many amenities designed to build a sense of community, including a golf court, amphitheatre, and various recreational spaces. It also features multiple landscaped and rectilinear courtyards hosting recreational spaces, including sports courts, playgrounds, and interactive water-based zones. Additionally, the project is the first of its kind to introduce India’s 1st five-level cascading outdoor swimming pool. Inside Cleo Country are two luxury residential towers, Cleo Gold - strategically positioned amidst greens, providing each unit with expansive outdoor views. Inspired by the architectural wisdom of the ancient Egyptians, who valued the significance of precise angles in construction, each tower is oriented at 90-degree angles to ensure every resident enjoys unobstructed panoramic vistas, blurring the lines between the outdoors and indoors. The towers provide naturally lit and ventilated balconies that give residents a sense of privacy.

Owing to the subtropical and dry climatic conditions of the region, the design process of Cleo County focused on utilising solar passive cooling techniques such as brise-soleil on the exterior to provide shading and mitigate solar heat gain. These features complement the overall façade design while being cost-effective and environment-friendly. Moreover, the towers of the development are designed to maximise natural light and air, thereby minimising dependency on HVAC and electricity.

Cleo County blends timeless charm with modern amenities through meticulous planning and sensitive design choices. With a strong focus on sustainable design practices, the residential development ensures environmental responsibility without compromising opulence. This approach redefines luxury living and sets a new benchmark for sustainable development in real estate.
