Himadri Wins Golden Peacock Award for Workplace Safety Excellence

Himadri Speciality Chemical has received the Golden Peacock Occupational Health & Safety Award 2025, conferred by the Institute of Directors (IOD), India, for its outstanding commitment to workplace safety and health standards. 

The company emerged among the top awardees from 573 nominations, following a rigorous three-tier evaluation. Himadri surpassed the 80 per cent benchmark required for this coveted recognition, backed by its strong EHS framework, global safety practices, and transparent reporting systems. 

The award was presented on June 26, 2025, at The Lalit Ashok, Bengaluru, during the 26th International Conference on Environment Management and Climate Change. The event was graced by H.D. Kumaraswamy, Union Cabinet Minister for Heavy Industries and Steel. 

“This award is a testament to our daily commitment to a safe and resilient work culture,” said Anurag Choudhary, Chairman & MD and CEO of Himadri. “We will continue to embed safety at the core of our operations with integrity and intent.”
