Mindspace REIT is recognised as a Great Place to Work

Mindspace Business Parks REIT, owner and developer of Grade A office portfolio in India, is now Great Place to Work-Certified, by the Great Place to Work Institute for March 2022-23. With its people-first approach, and a well-curated ESG integration into business, the entity has created an ecosystem on the pillars of high performance, excellence in execution, collaboration, and equal opportunities amongst its people.

Mindspace REIT believes that its people are at the heart of every business operation, thereby investing in their wellbeing and development. With a workplace that facilitates creativity, productivity, collaboration and wellness, the entity is committed to excelling as an organisation that adopts and implements people-centric business practices across its operations. Mindspace REIT has achieved this milestone in less than 2 years of inception and listing on the Indian Stock Exchanges in August 2020.

Vinod Rohira, CEO, Mindspace Business Parks REIT, has said “It is heartening to be acknowledged for our people-centric initiatives, which have enabled us to create an environment that is transparent, collaborative and progressive, while promoting camaraderie amongst our people. We believe our purpose driven approach has led to a far more engaged workforce and we remain committed to strengthening our workplace as one that our people take pride in calling their own.”

As torchbearers of ESG driven business practices in the real estate industry, Mindspace REIT relentlessly strives to maximise positive social impact by integrating and internalising people and community initiatives into business operations. They also recently announced an initiative to encourage teams to take time off for volunteering with Hope Project to engage in community service. With the ‘Pride Side Policy’, an inclusive diversity policy that prohibits discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity, the brand walks the talk towards an inclusive workplace. Other policies such as strong principles of zero discrimination in the hiring process, adoption assistance benefits, workshops to sensitise talent and provision of professional counselling, enable Mindspace REIT to lead the way towards a great workplace for its people.

Moreover, people-support policies, such as ‘We Care’, a platform for effective and timely redressal of grievances; the ‘Benevolent Scheme’ to provide financial assistance to the employee or their family in case of specific contingencies; company sponsored health insurance and group term life cover; flexible work timings and many other such initiatives, have made the employees truly believe in the organisation.
