JSW to invest Rs 45 bn on steel project

JSW Steel plans to invest Rs 4,500 crore to set up a 2.3 mtpa cold rolling mill complex in phases at Toranagallu in Bellary district. Phase-I of the proposed project is expected to be operational by March 2013 and Phase II by December 2013. The complex would produce high-grade automotive steel.
