RINL lays the first refractory brick of expansion

RINL/VSP recently laid the first refractory brick to start the special type of lining work of the vertical shaft kilns at Calcining & Refractory Materials Plant of Visakhapatnam Steel Plant under its 6.3 mtpa expansion programme. The new CRMP will be one of the most efficient and optimal energy consuming kiln which is in line with VSP's effort towards environmental friendly measures. These 500 tonne per day lime producing kilns are the biggest in the country with Beckenbach Annular Shaft design.
