CCI approves four-laning of Sikar-Bikaner highway in Raj

CCI as approved the four laning and operation of the Sikar-Bikaner section of NH 11 from 340.188 km to 557.775 km via the Sikar bypass and Bikaner bypass from 553.869 km of NH 11 to 267.325 km of NH 89 in Rajasthan. The road work will be executed with two lane, paved shoulders through PPP mode on a DBFOT basis. The total cost of the project will be around Rs 632.54 crore, out of which, Rs 5 crore will be spent towards the cost of land acquisition, rehabilitation, resettlement and pre construction. The total length of the project will be 237.578 km.

SEPC Resolves Hindustan Copper Dispute, Wins Rs 725 Mn Order

Engineering, procurement and construction firm SEPC Ltd has recently settled a dispute with Hindustan Copper Ltd (HCL) and secured a mining infrastructure order valued at Rs 725 million from the state-owned company. SEPC informed the stock exchanges that it has executed a settlement deed with HCL, bringing closure to all inter-se claims and counterclaims arising from arbitration proceedings. 20% Ethanol Blending Cuts India’s CO2 Emissions by 73.6 Mn Tonnes

Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari recently said that India has reduced carbon dioxide emissions by 73.6 million metric tonnes due to the adoption of 20 per cent ethanol blending in petrol.
