IL&FS awarded NHAI project

IL&FS Transportation Networks has been awarded a Letter of Award (LoA) by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) for rehabilitation, strenghtening and four laning of Chennai to Nashri section of NH-1A from 89 km to 130 km including 9 km tunnel, on BOT basis. The project will be based on DBFO pattern in Jammu & Kashmir. The annuity based project has a concession period of 20 years including the construction period of five years. Chennai Nashri Tunnelway Ltd (CNTL), a special purpose vehicle, will implement the Rs 2,519 crore project.
