GHMC Clears Major Road and Flyover Expansion Plans for Hyderabad

Furthermore, Rs 20.26 million was sanctioned for procuring 1,600 CCMS boxes, and administrative approval was granted for a Rs 70.4 million RCC box drain project from Darussalam to Chaknawadi culvert.

Discussions in the meeting also covered sanitation, street lighting, and the development of sports grounds. The need for an efficient tax collection drive, particularly targeting corporate schools, was also highlighted.

Previously, the GHMC council had approved an estimated budget of Rs 84.40 billion for 2025-26, with a revised budget of Rs 81.18 billion for 2024-25.
