This would involve the construction of 18 flyovers and six bridges on the six lane Gurgaon-Beawar national highway.

Gadkari said that demands for the construction of more structures had been made, such as underpasses, flyovers, and bridges for faster and safer traffic movement along the six lane Gurgaon - Jaipur - Kishangarh - Ajmer - Beawar national highway.

He further added that these have been approved with a Rs 619.48 crore budget, which includes 18 flyovers and six bridges construction.

Earlier, Gadkari had directed to open one side of the Kuthiran Tunnel, which is 1.6 km long in Kerala.

Gadkari further added that this road tunnel will enhance connectivity to Tamil Nadu and Karnataka and is the first road tunnel in the state. The 1.6 km long tunnel is developed through Peechi - Vazhani wildlife sanctuary.

The tunnel is expected to enhance connectivity to major ports and towns in the north-south corridor without endangering wildlife.

Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, transformation in the country's infrastructure is ensuring better economic opportunities for every citizen in the country, said Gadkari.
