PM inaugurates projects worth Rs 192.60 bn in Madhya Pradesh

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, announced in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, that he had laid the foundation stone and dedicated several development projects worth approximately Rs 1.92 billion to the nation. Among these projects were the dedication of the Delhi-Vadodara Expressway, the Grih Pravesh ceremony for more than 2.2 lakh houses constructed under PMAY, and the dedication of houses built under PMAY - Urban. Additionally, he laid the foundation stone for the Jal Jeevan Mission projects, nine health centres under the Ayushman Bharat Health Infrastructure Mission, the academic building of IIT Indore, and the foundation stone for hostel and other campus buildings, as well as a Multi-Modal Logistics Park in Indore. While addressing the audience, the Modi commented that Gwalior's land symbolised bravery, self-respect, pride, music, taste, and mustard. He pointed out that the region had produced numerous revolutionaries and individuals serving in the armed forces. He stressed that Gwalior had significantly influenced the policies and leadership of the ruling party, citing examples like Rajmata Vijaya Raje Scindia, Kushabhau Thakre, and Atal Bihari Vajpayee. Modi expressed, "The land of Gwalior serves as an inspiration in itself," highlighting that the people from this region had made ultimate sacrifices for the country. The Prime Minister acknowledged that the current generation hadn't actively participated in the freedom struggle. However, he asserted that the responsibility of transforming India into a developed and prosperous nation lay with them. Referring to the various projects dedicated or initiated, he stated that the government had undertaken multiple projects in a single day, a feat that some governments couldn't accomplish in an entire year.
