After Chennai Metro Rail Ltd. (CMRL) launched technical proposals, 7 companies have submitted bids for the C5-EM-04 electrical & mechanical (E&M), fire protection, ventilation, and air-conditioning contract for Chennai Metro Line-5. The deadline for completion was 810 days (2.2 years), and CMRL had requested bids for this essential contract in February 2023 with an undetermined estimate.
