Kolkata Metro carried out a successful trial run on a 7.03 km stretch of the under-construction Yellow Line (Line 4) between Jai Hind Bimanbandar (Airport) and Noapara, covering four stations: Biman Bandar, Jessore Road, Dum Dum Cantt, and Noapara. The trial was conducted using Rake No. MR 413 in the presence of Metro Railway GM P Uday Kumar Reddy and senior officials. Reddy stated the stretch will revolutionise airport connectivity for Kolkata and its suburbs.
