RailTel Secures New Orders Worth Rs 1.12 Bn in Gujarat, UP

RailTel Corporation of India Ltd, a Navratna PSU under the Ministry of Railways, has secured new work orders from the governments of Gujarat and Uttar Pradesh, taking its total order inflow for November to Rs 1119.9 billion.
The largest contract, worth Rs 657 million, was awarded by the Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA) Education Department in Gujarat. The project entails the design, installation, and maintenance of educational LBD Labs and is expected to be completed by November 8, 2028.
Another order, valued at Rs 138.6 million, came from the Information Technology and Electronics Department of Uttar Pradesh. It involves the supply, commissioning, training, and support of Atal Tinkering Labs (ATL) in secondary schools, with completion targeted for April 9, 2027.
Earlier this month, RailTel received a Rs 324.3 million contract from the Rajasthan Council of School Education for providing Aadhaar enrolment and updation services, running through October 2030.
At last check, RailTel’s shares traded 0.45 per cent lower at Rs 352.70 on the BSE, against the previous close of Rs 354.30. The stock remains 33 per cent above its 52-week low of Rs 265.30 and 26 per cent below its high of Rs 478.80.
