Railway Board Approves Two Daily Trains, Stoppages for Nine Others

The Railway Board has approved two new daily train services across Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra, along with additional stoppages for nine existing trains. The decisions are intended to improve connectivity between several cities and provide passengers with more travel options. Separate notifications will be issued by the concerned railway zones on the start dates and implementation details.

The Pratapnagar-Tanda Road MEMU has been sanctioned as a daily service under a Railway Board circular dated September 9. Train 69105 will leave Pratapnagar at 05:00 hrs and reach Tanda Road at 09:35 hrs the next day. The return service, train 69106, will depart Tanda Road at 17:05 hrs and arrive at Pratapnagar at 21:25 hrs. It will stop at Dabhoi, Chhuchhapura, Bodeli, Pavi, Chhota Udepur, Padaliya Road, Motisadhli, Ambari Richhavi, Alirajpur, Khandala, Jobat and Dekakund.

The second approved service is the daily Pune-Beed Express, numbered 11433/11434. Train 11433 will depart Pune at 22:45 hrs and reach Beed at 06:00 hrs, while train 11434 will leave Beed at 21:30 hrs and arrive in Pune at 05:20 hrs. The service will stop at Uruli, Daund Chord Line, Shrigonda Road, Ahilyanagar, Narayandoho, New Ashti and Amalner Bhandyache.

The Board has also cleared a new stoppage for the Danapur-Anand Vihar Terminal Jansadharan Express at Maa Belha Devi Dham Pratapgarh. Other approved stoppages are at Sambhar Lake for the Barmer-Jammu Tawi Express, Malakhera for the Jaisalmer-Kathgodam Ranikhet Express, and Kapasan for the Bandra (T)-Udaipur Express.

The Bilaspur-Tirupati Express and Pune-Howrah Azad Hind Express will stop at Norla Road and Ghatshila, respectively. Ghatshila will also be added to the Mumbai CSMT-Howrah Gitanjali Express. The Tatanagar-Ernakulam Express will stop at Manoharpur, while the Shri Ganganagar-Bandra (T) Amarpura Aravali Express will halt at Gogameri.
