Railways Approves IRAS Officer’s RLDA Deputation

The Ministry of Railways (Railway Board) has issued an order granting formal post-facto approval for the deputation of a senior Indian Railway Accounts Service (IRAS) officer to a key position at the Rail Land Development Authority (RLDA).

According to the order, the competent authority has approved the deputation of Shri Ramanand Bhagat (IRAS) to RLDA, Delhi, as Executive Director (Finance). The deputation has been sanctioned for a period of three years, effective from his initial joining at RLDA as General Manager (Accounts) on January 25, 2023.

The order specifies that the deputation will remain valid for the approved tenure or until further instructions are issued, whichever occurs earlier.

Shri Ramanand Bhagat, born on March 5, 1971, is a 2000-batch IRAS officer. Before his assignment at RLDA, he served as Financial Advisor and Chief Accounts Officer (Works and Stores) at East Central Railway, where he was responsible for overseeing financial planning and accounting functions across major operational segments.
