ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel India (AMNS) is building a new deep draft captive port at Suvali, Gujarat, to handle 65 mt of cargo for the expanded Hazira plant. The port will have berths for bulk, break bulk, and LNG, accommodating Capesize and Supramax vessels. Covering 331 hectare, the port will handle commodities like limestone, dolomite, iron ore, and steel products.
