Essar Shipping sees a Rs 0.53 billion loss in March quarter

Essar Shipping reported a loss of Rs 0.53 billion during the March 2024 quarter on lower income. It had posted Rs 0.363 billion in profit for the period after the share of profit ofthe associate"" in the year-ago period.

The company's total income declined to Rs 0.13 billion as against Rs 0.27 billion in the January-March period of FY23. Part of the Essar Group, Essar Shipping has over four decades of experience in owning and operating maritime assets.
