Andhra Pradesh chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has laid the foundation stone of Bhavanapadu port in Srikakulam district. The port would put the backward Srikakulam district on a development path and Srikakulam would become a port city. The port would be constructed on 230 acre with an estimated cost of Rs 30 billion. The required land for the port had already been acquired by the authorities.
