AXISCADES Secures Rs 6 Billion Defence Electronics Orders

AXISCADES Technologies Limited, a leading chip-to-product engineering firm specialising in Defence, Electronics, Semiconductor, and Artificial Intelligence (ESAI) applications, has secured new defence orders worth approximately Rs 6 billion through its defence subsidiaries. The orders span airborne, naval, and radar-based platforms, awarded by top Indian defence laboratories.

These strategic wins reaffirm AXISCADES’ commitment to indigenous defence development and further solidify its position as a trusted partner in India’s self-reliance mission. The projects involve advanced subsystem development for some of India’s most sophisticated defence platforms under agencies like DRDO and Defence PSUs.

Key Highlights of New Orders:

  • VIRUPAKSHA Radar Programme (Su-30 MKI Upgrade): Design and supply of exciter units, receiver units, and antenna beam control motherboards to replace existing Russian radar systems.
  • TR Modules for S-Band Surveillance Radars: State-of-the-art transmit-receive modules for enhanced target tracking and signal fidelity in long-range surveillance.
  • LRBMR – KUSHA: Development of indigenous digital beam forming units for the Long-Range Battle Management Radar with detection capabilities exceeding 500 km.
  • Electric Heavy Weight Torpedo (EHWT): Delivery of the homing receiver—vital for autonomous targeting in next-gen submarine-launched anti-submarine warfare.
  • Sonar Systems for Submarines: Production-level supply of various sonar sub-systems, reinforcing the company's presence in undersea warfare electronics.
The Rs 6 billion order book will be executed over the next three to five years and will generate consistent revenue through development, prototyping, and full-scale production phases.

Commenting on the developments, C. Manikandan, CTO, AXISCADES, said: “These partnerships underline our technological expertise in radar, sonar, and signal processing electronics. We are proud to contribute to platforms that shape India’s defence future and deepen our collaboration with premier defence research and production bodies.”
