Paras Defence Secures Rs. 528.2 Million Order From Bharat Electronics

Paras Defence and Space Technologies Limited (PARAS) has received an order from Bharat Electronics Limited (Bharat Electronics) for the supply of electro-optic equipment. The contract is valued at approximately Rs. 528.2 million (mn), equivalent to Rs. 52.82 crore, inclusive of taxes. The company has submitted an intimation to the stock exchanges under Regulation 30 of the Securities and Exchange Board of India listing obligations and disclosure rules. The disclosure accompanied the requisite annexure detailing contract terms and timelines.

The order was placed by a domestic public sector unit and is scheduled for execution on or before September 2027. The contract pertains to the supply of electro-optics and will be delivered as per agreed milestones over the execution period. The company has indicated that neither the promoters nor the promoter group have any interest in the ordering entity.

Paras Defence clarified that the transaction does not constitute a related party transaction under applicable norms.
