Six cities to emulate Pune's bicycle sharing scheme

Pune's Public Bicycle Sharing (PBS) scheme has earned rave reviews, and Varanasi is looking to emulate it. Talks of starting a similar scheme in Varanasi, are in the final stages. Other cities such as Kakinada, Chandigarh, Faridabad, Dharamshala and Chennai are also likely to take their cues from Pune. From the PBS scheme launch in December 2017 to March 2018, 3.5 lakh bicycle trips were completed.<br />
