Vardhman Amrante to Invest Rs 13.5 Bn in Punjab

Vardhman Amrante, the real estate arm of Oswal Group, has announced plans to invest Rs 13.50 billion in Punjab over the next three years. The investment will span various sectors, including residential, commercial, hospitality, industrial, and allied developments, with a focus on Ludhiana and other rapidly growing regions in the state.

Chairman and Managing Director Adish Oswal emphasized the company's commitment to transforming Punjab's urban landscape through high-end projects that set new benchmarks for quality and innovation. The funding for these initiatives will primarily come from internal accruals, with the possibility of additional debt financing if required.

Since its inception in 2014, Vardhman Amrante has delivered 1.5 million square feet of residential space and is currently developing a 275,000 square foot shopping mall. The company aims to establish itself as a leading real estate brand in Punjab by contributing to the state's economic development and infrastructure growth.

The Ministry of Railways has approved a Final Location Survey (FLS) for a proposed new railway line between Jirania and Bodhjung Nagar in Tripura. The Modern Coach Factory (MCF) in Raebareli, Uttar Pradesh, has reached a major production milestone with the manufacture of its 15,000th passenger coach on December 15, the Ministry of Railways said. During the current financial year 2025–26, the unit has produced a total of 1,310 coaches so far. Established in 2007 at Lalganj in Raebareli, MCF is among India’s most advanced passenger coach manufacturing facilities. Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) has received a Letter of Award from North Eastern Railway for a major railway infrastructure project valued at Rs 1.65 billion.
