Allcargo Gati Ltd Appoints Uday Sharma as Chief Commercial Officer

In a significant development, Allcargo Gati Ltd has announced the appointment of Uday Sharma as the Chief Commercial Officer for Gati Express & Supply Chain Pvt Ltd, a key subsidiary of the company. The appointment is set to take effect from January 15, 2024.

In his new role, Uday Sharma will play a pivotal part in developing marketing and business strategies, with a primary focus on boosting revenue growth. Additionally, he will lead the process of formulating a robust branding strategy for Allcargo Gati. Uday Sharma is expected to report directly to Pirojshaw (Phil) Sarkari, Managing Director, and Chief Executive Officer of Gati Express and Supply Chain (GESCPL).

Uday Sharma brings with him over two decades of cross-functional experience in various areas such as business development, organizational turn-around, franchise development, strategic planning, large enterprise value selling, and complex deal management. His previous position was as the Head of Sales at Delhivery, and he has also held key roles at prominent companies including Spoton Logistics, Safexpress, Aramex, and Elbee India.

Pirojshaw (Phil) Sarkari, MD & CEO, GESCPL, expressed his delight at Uday's appointment, stating, "We are delighted to have Uday on board.
