BCBA Hosts India Logistics Conclave 2026

The Brihanmumbai Custom Brokers’ Association (BCBA) recently hosted the second edition of The India Logistics Conclave 2026 at The Taj Mahal Palace, Mumbai. The event brought together more than 550 delegates, government leaders and industry representatives from the customs, ports, shipping, trade and logistics ecosystem.

Held under the theme “One Fraternity, One Vision: Logistics Driving India Towards Viksit Bharat”, the conclave focused on India’s logistics roadmap towards 2047. The proceedings began with the inauguration of the CBIC Pavilion, followed by an inaugural session addressed online by Vivek Chaturvedi, Chairman, Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs.

The inaugural session featured senior representatives from CBIC, the Directorate General of Shipping, Navi Mumbai International Airport, MSC India, Reliance Industries, Samsara Group and BCBA. The discussions highlighted the need for a modern, trust-based and technology-led customs administration to support trade efficiency.

The conclave included four business sessions covering India’s roadmap for Viksit Bharat, digital customs and trade systems, geopolitics and changing trade routes, and policy and infrastructure for a futuristic logistics ecosystem. Senior officials from CBIC, JNPA, DPIIT, Land Port Authority of India, industry bodies and logistics companies participated in the discussions.

The valedictory session focused on the role of logisticians in nation-building. BCBA said the event reaffirmed the role of customs brokers and freight forwarders as key partners in India’s growth story.
