Global and national supply chain is of paramount criticality in 2021 and beyond. This sector is the backbone of modern civilisation and the Indian government should look at ways to simplify global trade. We build from India for the world and increasingly, more technology startups would be doing this.

Currently, there is a very high degree of compliance and paperwork, making it difficult for technology companies to serve the global audience and this forces companies to shift base outside the country.

Centre Releases Rs 3 Bn for Kerala’s Palakkad Industrial Smart City Project

The Central Government has released the third instalment of Rs 3 billion for the Palakkad Industrial Smart City Project, a flagship component of the Kochi–Bengaluru Industrial Corridor.The funds have been allocated to the Kerala Industrial Corridor Development Corporation (KICDC), while the State Government has transferred 316 acres of additional land to the corporation.With this latest disbursement, the Centre has now released a total of Rs 6.13 billion in three instalments, while the State has handed over 646 acres of land, meeting nearly 45 per cent of the project’s total cost and land ..

Mumbai Generates 3,000 MT of Additional Garbage During Diwali Week

Amid the Diwali festivities, Mumbai witnessed a sharp spike in waste generation — producing over 3,000 metric tonnes (MT) of additional garbage over the past week, equivalent to nearly 162 truckloads.According to data from the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), the city, which typically generates an average of 6,900 MT of solid waste per day (as per September figures), saw this number rise to around 7,300 MT daily during the festive week — marking an increase of roughly 400 MT per day.Between October 19 and 21, daily waste generation peaked at 7,799 MT, with an average of 7,300 MT p..

DP World, DPA and Nevomo Partner to Pilot MagRail at Deendayal Port

DP World has signed an agreement with Deendayal Port Authority (DPA) and European deep-tech company Nevomo to deploy India’s first magnetic propulsion system for bulk cargo and container movement at Deendayal Port.
