DTDC Launches Nagaland Fleet at Hornbill Festival

DTDC Express has unveiled a cultural initiative at the Hornbill Festival 2025 in Nagaland, transforming its delivery trucks into moving canvases to spotlight the state’s artistic heritage. Titled the Nagaland Fleet, the initiative features artworks created in collaboration with artists from Nagaland’s 17 tribes, collectively themed ‘Woven in Diversity’, reflecting the region’s traditions, craftsmanship and shared identity.

Following the festival, the branded trucks are travelling across India, carrying regionally rooted cultural narratives to a national audience. A short film documenting the creation of the fleet captures the artistic process and the stories behind the works.

Rahul Alam, visual artist from the Sylheti Tribe, said the initiative brings overdue visibility to Naga art, adding that it “highlights authentic Naga art” and helps it reach wider audiences.

Abhishek Chakraborty, CEO, DTDC Express, said, “Through the Naga Fleet, we are proud to help these stories travel across the country.” Neha Bagchi, Head of Marketing, added that the initiative reflects DTDC’s belief that logistics can connect cultures as well as communities.

With a network covering 96 per cent of India’s population, DTDC said the Nagaland Fleet reinforces its purpose-driven approach of using scale and reach to carry India’s living culture nationwide.
