MatchLog partners DD Khosla to boost container reuse and fleet connectivity in Punjab

MatchLog, a global container reuse platform, has entered into a strategic collaboration with Punjab-based logistics and transport operator DD Khosla to strengthen container reuse networks, improve fleet connectivity and drive digital logistics efficiency across the state.

Under the collaboration, DD Khosla will work with MatchLog to increase the frequency of street turns across Punjab’s trade corridors. The initiative aims to ensure that import containers are efficiently matched with export demand, reducing the need to reposition empty containers back to ports or inland container depots. The partnership combines MatchLog’s STinder technology platform with DD Khosla’s regional transporter network and operational footprint to improve equipment utilisation and lower repositioning costs for cargo owners and hauliers.

The collaboration also includes MiSTY Yard Services, which will focus on improving yard turnaround times and giving logistics operators better visibility and control over container dwell time and positioning. MatchLog said the partnership will also provide value-added logistics support such as coordination, documentation and end-to-end management of container flows.

In addition, DD Khosla will support the expansion of MatchLog’s transporter and fleet partner ecosystem in Punjab, enabling trucking operators to access more consistent freight opportunities and reduce empty return trips.

Harsh Vardhan Gupta, Co-founder and India CEO, MatchLog, said, "Punjab's density of import-export activity creates a strong foundation for container reuse to work at high frequency, and DD Khosla brings the fleet relationships and local presence that are essential to achieving that. Our shared focus is on delivering outcomes that operators can see in their day-to-day numbers, whether that is fewer empty kilometres, shorter yard turnarounds, or more predictable load continuity for transporters. We see this collaboration as a significant step in building the kind of regional reuse network that creates durable efficiency gains across Punjab's logistics corridors."

MatchLog said the collaboration aligns with its strategy to expand container reuse through partnerships with established regional operators. The two companies plan to scale the initiative through expanded programmes and industry outreach to drive broader adoption of digital container reuse practices across Punjab’s logistics sector.
