Sumadhura Group Leases Warehouse to Nippon Express in Bengaluru

Hyderabad-based Sumadhura Group has leased 180,000 square feet of warehousing space to global logistics leader NX Logistics India (Nippon Express) at its Grade-A facility, Sumadhura Logistics Park. This lease is part of the first phase of the park's development, which encompasses 2.5 million square feet and represents a significant milestone in Sumadhura’s logistics sector expansion.

Sumadhura has entered into a 9-year lease agreement to provide ready-to-move-in warehouse space to NX Logistics India at its logistics park. The Grade-A facility features advanced infrastructure and amenities, ensuring convenience, accessibility, and optimised storage solutions for NX Logistics’ fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) clients.

The Group is investing approximately Rs 6 billion in the first phase of Sumadhura Logistics Park, which spans about 100 acres and offers 2.5 million square feet of commercial warehousing space. The next phase of development will expand the warehousing space to 6 million square feet.

Madhusudhan G, Chairman and Managing Director of Sumadhura Group, commented that the collaboration underscores Sumadhura’s dedication to delivering state-of-the-art warehousing solutions and transforming the logistics industry in India. He noted that the rising demand for Grade-A warehouses across various sectors reflects the growing market need for high-quality warehousing solutions, particularly for large-scale industries like FMCG, which is projected to become a $10 billion industry by 2030.
