TVS InvIT Opens 17-Acre Industrial Park in Visakhapatnam

TVS Infrastructure Trust has inaugurated the expanded phase of its Tarkeshwar Industrial & Logistics Park in Visakhapatnam. The 17-acre facility at Gurrampalem, developed with an investment of around Rs 250 crore, was virtually inaugurated by Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on 11 November 2025. The project is expected to create more than 1,000 jobs.
Strategically positioned along the Anakapalle–Anandapuram Expressway (NH-16), the built-to-suit industrial park offers direct access to Visakhapatnam Port, enabling efficient multimodal connectivity. It has been designed to meet growing demand for Grade A logistics and industrial infrastructure in the region. The Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation Ltd (APIIC) allocated land for the project and fast-tracked necessary approvals. The park is managed by TVS Industrial and Logistics Parks (TVS ILP), one of India’s leading developers of Grade A warehousing.
During the inauguration, the Chief Minister reiterated the state’s ‘One Family, One Entrepreneur’ vision aimed at fostering widespread entrepreneurship across Andhra Pradesh.
Dr Ramnath Subramaniam, Joint Managing Director, TVS ILP, said, “Andhra Pradesh’s strategic location and growing industrial ecosystem make it one of the most attractive destinations for infrastructure-led investments in India. Visakhapatnam, with its multi-modal connectivity, port infrastructure, and proximity to major manufacturing clusters, plays a pivotal role in driving this growth. The facility at Vizag is designed to meet the evolving needs of modern occupiers—offering scalable, sustainable, and compliant infrastructure that supports sectors such as automotive, FMCG, manufacturing and e commerce. It is well-positioned to attract both domestic and global companies seeking high quality space in the region.”
The inauguration ceremony was graced by several dignitaries, including Dr Dola Sree Bala Veeranjaneya Swamy Garu, Minister for Social Welfare, Disabled and Senior Citizen Welfare, Government of Andhra Pradesh; T.G. Bharath Garu, Minister for Industries & Commerce and Food Processing, Government of Andhra Pradesh; Kondapalli Srinivas Garu, Minister for MSME and SERP NRI Empowerment & Relations; Mathukumilli Sribharat Garu, Member of Parliament (Lok Sabha), Visakhapatnam; and Manthena Rama Raju Garu, Chairman, APIIC. The event was presided over by P. Ramesh Babu Garu, Member of the Legislative Assembly, Pendurthi.
