WACKER to Increase Prices for Dispersions and Powders by 5%

Effective 1 May 2025, or as existing contracts permit, WACKER Group will implement a price increase of up to 5 percent for dispersions and dispersible polymer powders produced at its European and US manufacturing facilities. The move is driven by sustained increases in the cost of raw materials and logistics.

This strategic adjustment will ensure the Polymers division maintains its high standards in product quality, technological innovation, and customer support, while also reinforcing its investment capability for future growth in core markets.

WACKER Polymers is a leading global manufacturer of advanced binders and polymeric additives derived from polyvinyl acetate and vinyl acetate copolymers and terpolymers. These products—available as dispersions, dispersible polymer powders, solid resins, and solutions—are integral to a wide range of industries including construction chemicals, paints and coatings, adhesives, sealants, carpets, nonwovens, fibre composites, and bio-based polymer materials.

The division operates production facilities in Germany, China, South Korea, and the United States, supported by a global sales network and technical centres across all key regions.
