Great Offshore has bagged a contract from Gujarat State Petroleum Corp (GSPC) for deployment of its 2007 built state-of-the-art Anchor Handling Tug Supply Vessel (AHTSV) Malaviya Twenty Three in the KG basin at East coast of India.

Siemens has bagged an order from Jaypee Sports International for providing equipment for the Formula1 race track at Noida. Siemens will supply, install, design, engineer and commission special electronics package, including setting up of race control management system, video surveillance of racetrack and video storage.

Volvo Buses India Pvt Ltd (VBIPL) has bagged its single largest order of 100 multiaxle buses from Hubli-based VRL Logistics Ltd. Presently, VRL is the largest operator of commercial vehicles in India with a fleet of 2,800 vehicles. It has 250 buses in its fleet.

The Shipping Corporation of India has given contracts for 31 vessels which will be delivered before 2014. The company will also order 15 more vessels by the end of this financial year to boost its fleet strength.
