Nagarjuna Construction Company has bagged a contract from NHAI to execute the four-laning of 163 km Jamshedpur-Ranchi stretch of NH-33. The project will be executed under BOT-annuity basis.

Contract value: Rs 130 crore

Megha Engineering and Infrastructure Ltd has bagged two work orders from the state governments of Gujarat and Rajasthan. These include construction of pumping station, pump house and laying of pipeline.

Alphageo (India) Ltd has been awarded a contract by M/s KEI-RSOS Petroleum & Energy for acquisition and processing of seismic data in Andhra Pradesh.

BHEL has bagged an order from Karnataka Power Corporation Ltd (KPCL) to supply the country's first super critical 700-MW coal fire unit for its thermal power station at Bellary.

BHEL has bagged an order from Visa Power Ltd for supply and installation of a 2x600-MW thermal power plant in Raigarh in Chhattisgarh .

Valecha Engineering Ltd has bagged a contract for two-laning of the Lalpul-Manmao-Changlang highway from 0.00 km to 68.30 km at Arunachal Pradesh.

Spanco Ltd has received an LOI from Bihar State Electricity Board, for implementation of IT infrastructure for the company. The project includes improvement of power supply reliability at distribution level and achieving commercial viability of the state electricity departments.

Great Offshore has bagged a contract from Gujarat State Petroleum Corp (GSPC) for deployment of its 2007 built state-of-the-art Anchor Handling Tug Supply Vessel (AHTSV) Malaviya Twenty Three in the KG basin at East coast of India.

Siemens has bagged an order from Jaypee Sports International for providing equipment for the Formula1 race track at Noida. Siemens will supply, install, design, engineer and commission special electronics package, including setting up of race control management system, video surveillance of racetrack and video storage.

Volvo Buses India Pvt Ltd (VBIPL) has bagged its single largest order of 100 multiaxle buses from Hubli-based VRL Logistics Ltd. Presently, VRL is the largest operator of commercial vehicles in India with a fleet of 2,800 vehicles. It has 250 buses in its fleet.

The construction division of L&T has bagged an order from Abu Dhabi for construction of Sheikh Khalifa Interchange. The scope of work includes construction of four bridges to be completed in a time span of two years.

Larsen & Toubro Ltd has bagged an order from Hindalco for carrying out the structural steel works for 6X150 MW captive power plant in Orissa.

Contract value: Rs 6,000 crore

The Shipping Corporation of India has given contracts for 31 vessels which will be delivered before 2014. The company will also order 15 more vessels by the end of this financial year to boost its fleet strength.

Theiss, a subsidiary of Leighton Holdings, has won a 22-year coal mining contract for the development of Pakri Barwadhi mine from NTPC.

Punj Lloyd has a contract from PTT Public Company Ltd for detailed  EPC of 294 km  of  42"  Onshore  Gas  Pipeline  from the LNG Terminal at the Maptaphut Industrial Estate near Rayong to a tie-in station on  the  existing  Wang  Noi  to  Kaeng  Khoi  (WNKK)  Pipeline in Saraburi Province.

Contract value: Rs 40.84 crore

Jaihind Projects Ltd has been awarded a contract by Brahmaputra er and Polymer Ltd for providing mechanical and piping works of LLDPE/HDPE unit for Brahmaputra Petrochemical Complex at Assam.

ABB has won several orders to provide power supply infrastructure and equipment for several floating, production, storage and off-loading vessels.

Pratibha Industries Ltd has secured its maiden overseas contract for construction of Al Ghafat Reservoirs Phases 1 & 2 from Dubai Electricity & Water Authority, an agency of Dubai Government.

Rolls-Royce has won new contracts for supply of two RB211 gas turbine power generation packages to the Total Oil Company and Slovensky plynarensky priemysel. Besides, Rolls-Royce would also provide Bergen reciprocating engines to customers in Tanzania, Madagascar, India and Spain.

ITD Cementation India in Joint Venture with its promoter, Italian-Thai Development Public Company, has been awarded a contract by Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) for construction of elevated road and metro viaduct for stage I of Jaipur metro and Ajmer road BRTS corridor.
