Carlton London Enters Furniture Market with EBG Group

Carlton London has entered India’s furniture market through a partnership with EBG Group, launching Carlton Luxury Furniture with a focus on sustainable and long-life home interiors.

The venture plans to open 600 franchise-led showrooms across 300 cities over the next five years through a partner-driven expansion model. The company expects the rollout to generate investments of Rs 18-20 billion from franchise stakeholders and create over 12,000 jobs across the country.

The brand said the initiative will focus on sustainability-led furniture manufacturing, targeting a reduction of around 16,000 kg of carbon footprint annually through sustainable sourcing, efficient logistics and circular design practices. The collection includes sofas, dining sets, chairs and storage solutions designed for a lifespan of 10-15 years.

The company has also introduced a furniture buyback programme that will allow customers to return used products for refurbishment and resale, supporting circular economy practices and reducing furniture waste.

Dr Irfan Khan, Founder and Chairman, EBG Group, said the initiative aims to shift the industry towards longer-lasting and environmentally conscious furniture solutions. Carl Virk, Founder, Carlton London, said the partnership marks the brand’s expansion into premium home furnishings with a focus on quality and responsible manufacturing.
