Gulf Oil Expands OEM Partnerships in Construction Sector

Gulf Oil Lubricants India Ltd. (Hinduja Group), one of India’s fastest-growing lubricant companies, has announced strategic partnerships with leading construction equipment manufacturers ACE – Action Construction Equipment Ltd., Ammann India and XCMG. These collaborations significantly strengthen Gulf’s presence in the construction and infrastructure segment, aligning with India’s accelerating infrastructure development and growing demand for high-performance equipment solutions.

The partnerships expand Gulf’s portfolio of OEM-approved lubricants, designed to enhance equipment reliability, improve uptime and optimise total cost of ownership across diverse and demanding operating environments. By deepening collaboration with major original equipment manufacturers, Gulf aims to deliver application-specific lubricant solutions tailored to evolving industry requirements and operating conditions.

Building on its long-standing relationship with ACE, Gulf has introduced new additions to the ACE Genuine Oil range. These products have been developed specifically for ACE’s wide portfolio, including cranes, backhoe loaders, compactors, motor graders, forklifts, tractors and harvesters. Engineered for real-world Indian operating conditions, the new lubricants are designed to improve performance, durability and operational efficiency across multiple equipment categories.

Further reinforcing its focus on road construction, Gulf announced a strategic collaboration with Ammann India, a leading manufacturer of road construction equipment. Ammann commands over 60 per cent market share in asphalt mixing plants and has a strong presence in pavers and compaction machinery. Under this partnership, Gulf will become the official lubricants partner for Ammann’s entire equipment range, supplying high-performance products under the Ammann Genuine Oil range. The collaboration combines Ammann’s engineering expertise with Gulf’s advanced lubrication technologies to enhance equipment uptime, extend service life and promote sustainable operations for contractors and infrastructure developers across India. The association also aims to develop specialised lubricant formulations for Ammann’s upcoming and technologically advanced equipment in the future.

Gulf has also entered into a partnership with XCMG, a global leader in construction equipment, to launch XCMG-branded genuine lubricants in India. These collaborations reflect a shared commitment to strengthening Indian manufacturing, delivering localised solutions and leveraging deep application knowledge to support the country’s infrastructure ecosystem.

Commenting on the partnerships, Ravi Chawla, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Gulf Oil Lubricants India Ltd., said that infrastructure has been a strategic focus area for the company for over 15 years, and these alliances mark a significant step in strengthening its presence in the sector. He noted that close collaboration with leading OEMs such as ACE, Ammann and XCMG enables Gulf to deliver future-ready, application-specific lubricant solutions that improve equipment reliability, reduce downtime and optimise total cost of ownership, while creating long-term value through enduring partnerships.

Gulf currently maintains more than 50 OEM associations across the automotive, industrial and construction sectors, enabling the company to offer expert product selection, on-ground technical services and tailored solutions for infrastructure customers. This integrated approach has supported consistent double-digit growth and strengthened Gulf’s positioning in high-growth segments.

Alongside these partnerships, Gulf has unveiled a next-generation lubricant range that includes fire-resistant hydraulic oil, energy-efficient zinc-free hydraulic oil, CEV V diesel engine oil, new synthetic formulations and synthetic gear oil 75W90. With localised research and development, field-tested formulations suited to India’s extreme operating conditions and readiness for CE-V emissions norms as well as emerging electric and hybrid equipment, Gulf continues to reinforce its position as a trusted partner in India’s infrastructure growth story.
