Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL)?s Bhilai Steel Plant (BSP) will install solar power generation systems on its site buildings of 2 MW of electricity. The plant has signed an agreement with the Chhattisgarh State Renewable Energy Development Agency (CREDA) for the solar power generation project. Further, another initiative of rooftop solar energy of about 3 MW of electricity systems installation on residences and offices in the township is also underway.

Morocco to expand energy capacity by 9 gigawatts; 6.5 for renewables
Leila Benali, Energy Minister, Morroco, speaking at a conference on batteries in Rabat, revealed that out of the $7 billion investment planned by Morocco to expand its energy capacity by 9 gigawatts by 2027, 6.5 gigawatts would be attributed to renewables. Currently, renewable capacity stands at 4.5 gigawatts, comprising 37.6 % of the total capacity, as reported by the electricity regulator.

Enfinity Global Inc. secures $135 mn financing with CPP Investments
Enfinity Global Inc. has finalised a $135 million financing agreement with the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPP Investments) for the development and implementation of 1.2 gigawatts (GW) of solar and wind projects spanning five Indian states.
"The projects in this portfolio, spread across five states (Maharashtra, Delhi, Karnataka, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh), are in advanced stages of development and are expected to be commissioned between 2025 and 2026," the company said in a statement.
