Greenzo And Lord's Mark To Develop Clean Power Projects

Greenzo Energy signed an agreement with Lord's Mark Industries to jointly develop clean energy projects across Uttar Pradesh, including a 60 megawatt (MW) green hydrogen capacity. The partnership will also deploy integrated solar rooftop projects coupled with battery energy storage systems across key locations such as Gorakhpur, Aligarh, Jhansi and Lucknow. The companies indicated the programme aims to accelerate local decarbonisation and expand renewable energy infrastructure in the state.

Under the arrangement, Greenzo Energy will serve as the technology and engineering, procurement and construction partner responsible for engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning of the projects, while Lord's Mark Industries will act as project developer and investor overseeing financing, regulatory approvals, project development and commercial structuring. Both parties will collaborate to develop approximately 60 MW of green hydrogen capacity alongside the rooftop and storage initiatives. The partnership model seeks to align technical delivery with project development and investment capabilities.

This collaboration builds upon Lord's Mark Industries' earlier memorandum of understanding with the Government of Uttar Pradesh for renewable energy development, involving an estimated investment of over Rs 20 billion (Rs 20 bn). The memorandum is valid for five years and provides a structured framework for joint participation in upcoming green hydrogen and renewable energy opportunities in the state. The linkage with the state agreement is expected to facilitate regulatory clearances and streamlined project rollout.

Greenzo Energy India managing director Sandeep Agarwal described the combination of indigenous hydrogen technology and EPC expertise with Lord's Mark's development capabilities as intended to support Uttar Pradesh's renewable energy vision and contribute meaningfully to India's clean energy and decarbonisation objectives. Lord's Mark Industries managing director Sachidanand Upadhyay noted the partnership brings together development expertise and proven hydrogen technology capabilities to accelerate project delivery. The companies said the collaboration will focus on timely execution and mobilisation of required resources.
