KEC Wins Rs 10.16 Billion Orders Across Key EPC Segments

KEC International Ltd, a global infrastructure EPC major and part of the RPG Group, has secured new orders worth Rs 10.16 billion across several business segments.

Civil Business: The company has won orders in the Buildings and Factories segment from existing clients. These include a luxury villa development project in Western India from a prominent real-estate developer, and an upstream project in Eastern India from a leading steel manufacturer.

Oil and Gas Pipelines: KEC has secured its first-ever order in the Middle East, marking a significant milestone as the business enters the GCC market with a composite station-works project.

Transmission and Distribution (T&D): The company has received a series of fresh and extension orders for T&D projects. These include the supply of towers, hardware, and poles in the Middle East and the Americas, as well as 400 kV transmission-line projects in the UAE.

Cables and Conductors: Additional orders were secured for the supply of a range of cables and conductors to customers in India and overseas.

Commenting on the order wins, Mr Vimal Kejriwal, Managing Director and CEO of KEC International Ltd, said, “We are pleased with the new order wins secured across our businesses. Our Civil business has expanded its portfolio with a maiden luxury-villa development order and further strengthened its metals and mining presence through an upstream steel-plant project. In a significant milestone, our Oil and Gas business has marked its entry into the GCC region, opening up a large and attractive market for future growth.”

He added that with these additions, the company’s year-to-date order intake has surpassed Rs 170 billion, reflecting strong growth of about 17 per cent over last year and reinforcing confidence in achieving its growth targets
