KLK Ventures Wins 1,000 Solar Pump Order In Maharashtra

KLK Ventures Pvt. Ltd. has secured an order to deploy 1,000 solar water pumping systems across Maharashtra under the Government of India’s PM KUSUM Yojana, marking a significant milestone in the company’s renewable energy portfolio.

The project involves the design, supply and installation of solar-powered pumps with capacities of 3 horsepower, 5 horsepower and 7.5 horsepower. These systems are aimed at providing farmers with reliable and cost-effective irrigation solutions, while reducing dependence on grid electricity and diesel-powered pumps.

KLK Ventures said the large-scale rollout would improve energy access in rural areas and support sustainable agricultural practices. The initiative is expected to enhance water security for farmers, lower irrigation-related operating costs and contribute to Maharashtra’s clean energy and sustainability goals.

Commenting on the order, Akshat Jain, Chief Executive Officer of KLK Ventures, said the project reflects strong confidence in the company’s technical expertise and execution capabilities. He added that KLK Ventures remains focused on delivering high-quality renewable energy solutions that create long-term value for farming communities and other stakeholders. The project further strengthens the company’s presence in Maharashtra’s solar infrastructure landscape and aligns with national efforts to promote solar adoption and empower the agricultural sector through flagship government programmes.
