NTPC Seeks Bids for 20 MW Solar Project in Madhya Pradesh

NTPC has issued a call for bids for a 20 MW ground-mounted solar project in the MGR Bulb area of NTPC Vindhyachal, located in Madhya Pradesh.

The project involves comprehensive work, including design, engineering, supply, erection, and commissioning. Additionally, it requires three years of operation and maintenance, along with an annual maintenance contract for critical equipment.

The deadline for bid submission is September 3, 2024, with bids being opened on the same day.

Prospective bidders are required to pay Rs 22,500 for the bid documents and provide a bid security of Rs 10 million.

Eligible bidders should meet the following criteria:

? They must have executed at least one electrical substation of 33 kV or higher voltage level as a developer or an EPC contractor. ? Their annual turnover should have been at least Rs 760 million during the last three financial years up to the bid opening date. ? Their net worth should not be less than 100 per cent of their paid-up share capital in the previous financial year.

Previously, NTPC Renewable Energy, a subsidiary of NTPC, had issued a tender for an engineering, procurement, and construction package to develop solar projects with a cumulative capacity of 795 MW (2?275 MW + 1?245 MW) at Khavda RE Power Park in the Rann of Kutch, Gujarat.
