Tata Power Solar Systems (TPSSL) will invest Rs.6.12 bn in a 100 MW groundmounted solar project for SJVN in Gujarat. SJVN is an Indian public sector company with interests in hydro, thermal, solar, wind, power transmission, and power trading. The project was granted through tariffbased competitive bidding after bids for the plot C of the Raghanesda solar park in Gujarat were invited earlier this year. The Modern Coach Factory (MCF) in Raebareli, Uttar Pradesh, has reached a major production milestone with the manufacture of its 15,000th passenger coach on December 15, the Ministry of Railways said.
