HNG chalks out expansion plans

Hindustan National Glass & Industries Ltd (HNG) plans to expand its capacity by adding another line of 800 tonne per day (tpd). It recently set up a 600 tpd float glass plant at Halol with an investment of Rs 600 crore. It now plans to produce automotive glass at the facility from April 2010. The company is also planning to acquire two overseas container glass units worth Rs 250 crore and Rs 500 crore in South East Asia and Middle East in the next five months.
