Sterling and Wilson Secures Rs 17.72 Bn EPC Orders

Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy Limited (SWREL) has secured three engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contracts worth Rs 17.72 billion ($201.91 million) from leading renewable energy developers in India.
The projects, to be executed in Gujarat and Rajasthan, include solar power installations with a cumulative capacity exceeding 1 GW. The scope of work covers design, engineering, supply, construction, and commissioning, followed by operations and maintenance services.
A company spokesperson said the new orders reaffirm Sterling and Wilson’s position as a preferred EPC partner in India’s rapidly expanding renewable energy sector. These projects are expected to contribute significantly to India’s clean energy capacity addition and support its 500 GW renewable energy target by 2030.
