In a recent announcement, UltraTech Cement has commissioned Line 2 of 2 mtpa capacity of the Bara Grinding Unit in Uttar Pradesh. Line I of the unit was commissioned in January 2020 and is currently operating at a capacity utilisation of over 80 per cent. The additional capacity will benefit the fast-growing cement demand in Central India.
