UltraTech plans to triple its capacity in India by 2025-26 (FY26) from current levels. The company plans to increase capacity in India to 131.25 mtpa by the end of the January-March quarter of 2022-23, up from 115.85 mtpa in the July-September quarter of FY23. As part of its Phase 2 expansion plan, the company expects to reach 153 mtpa in India by FY26. UltraTech's cement capacity, including international operations, stood at 121.25 mtpa at the end of Q2, up from 120 mtpa previously.
