, shares the company’s expectations from and offerings at BAUMA CONEXPO INDIA 2016…

How is the current market scenario influencing your offering at BAUMA CONEXPO INDIA this year? Any new launches planned?

Ajashy Engineering has been producing offshore and onshore or cross country pipeline equipment, special attachments for construction equipment, hybrid lighting masts and mobile service vans. Although all our equipment divisions have equal prominence in terms of business for us, but the recent boom in the road construction projects has kept us quite busy with the attachments and equipment for road projects. The same is reflecting in our offering at BAUMA CONEXPO INDIA 2016 as we will be displaying the mobile service van and slope compactor roller, which fall in the pool of our best selling products since a year.

As innovation drives each mind in our organisation, we are launching the hybrid lighting mast at BAUMA CONEXPO INDIA 2016. While conventional lighting masts are powered by a diesel engine only and have outdated halogen lighting system, our hybrid system is powered by an engine along self charging power back-up system and comes with LED lights. The hybrid system cuts down the engine running hours, which makes it economical and environment-friendly.

Any specific investments (in rupees) made by the company towards product launches, up-gradation, etc, and if yes, how much?

We have put considerable efforts in terms of time and money for the conceptualisation, designing and launch of the hybrid lighting mast.

In terms of generating business, what are your expectations from the event this year?

We see BAUMA CONEXPO INDIA’s move to shift the venue to Gurgaon as a big plus as Gurgaon is the label of India’s millennium city, with the presence of corporate offices of major construction companies. Also, close proximity to the airport and better transport network will surely increase the footfall. And, as BAUMA itself is a promising exhibition platform, we expect a good turnaround, which would definitely increase our organic reach and hopefully shall boost our business.
