Avigna Industrial & Logistics Park has leased out its first 1 million sq ft space of industrial warehouse at Hosur Park in Tamil Nadu to marquee brands.The company has handed over 58,000 sq ft to the multinational manufacturer of home appliances, Whirlpool, marking Avigna’s first venture with a Fortune 500 company. In addition, it has handed over 2.54 lakh sq ft to one of the largest consumer supply chain companies in the country, Stellar Value Chain, and 3.44 lakh sq ft space to India’s top rated online mattress brand, Wakefit, along with a Grade-A, built-to-suit facility of 2.69 lakh sq ft to them.“What you see is what you believe,” says Abhijit Verma, Executive Director & CEO, Avigna Group. “It gives me immense pride to announce our first milestone in handing over the facility to the first set of blue-chip brands. The precision with which we were able to deliver during these difficult times got clients coming back to us providing EoIs and LoIs for all India requirements, which in turn has helped accelerate the growth plan of Avigna Group.”Avigna Group is looking at pan-India expansion and is currently building warehousing space of 3 million sq ft each in Hosur (Tamil Nadu) and Hoskote (Karnataka), 1 million sq ft each in Chennai (Tamil Nadu) and Nellore (Andhra Pradesh) and 2 million sq ft in Madurai (Tamil Nadu). Besides this, the Group is envisaging to expand its base in Bhiwandi in Mumbai, Farruknagar in Haryana, Jaipur and Kolkata.
