ABB India has worked with Indore Smart City Development (ISCDL) to introduce next-generation digital technology that ensures that families and businesses have access to power at all times. During the initial phase of the collaboration, this technology-enabled over 2,300 connections to have continuous power with an efficient Automatic Response System (ARS) in the event of power failure. ABB and ISCDL now intend to replicate the approach in other parts of the city, thus showing Indore as a model for smart city projects throughout India.
