Tata Hitachi launches new excavators

Tata Hitachi Construction Machinery has launched a new range of hydraulic excavators, the GI series, in the premium segment that will also cater to Hitachi´s export markets.The GI series, for Global Initiative, is a new platform for the latest range of premium excavators. The Zaxis 220 LC will also be exported to West Asia and Africa under the Hitachi badge. The series features advanced hydraulics, information technology support and a cabin offering superior operator comfort. The Zaxis 220 LC will be priced at around Rs 50 lakh.
