The inauguration of 'EXCON 2023,' South Asia's largest construction equipment trade fair, was officiated by Nitin Gadkari, the Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways. Scheduled from December 12 to 16 at the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre (BIEC), the event will host over 1,000 exhibitors from approximately 15 countries. Addressing the media, Dimitrov Krishnan, Co-Chairman of CII EXCON 2023, highlighted the festival's significance as the 12th edition, underscoring its role as the Construction Equipment Festival of India. The leading cement producers have posted high single-digit volume growth and better sales realisation in the July–September quarter, setting a positive tone for the second half of FY26.
