Putzmeister Unveils 1405 D Classic Concrete Pump

Putzmeister, a global leader in concrete equipment with over 65 years of expertise, has launched its latest innovation—the Stationary Concrete Pump BSA 1405 D Classic—tailored specifically for the demanding conditions of Indian construction sites.

Described as “performance simplified,” the 1405 D Classic is built to handle real-world challenges while offering ease of operation, robust design, and consistent results across a wide range of applications including high-rise buildings and infrastructure development. The pump boasts a 13 per cent increase in hydraulic capacity, 6 per cent more output, and 7 per cent higher delivery pressure. It delivers up to 54 cubic metres per hour at 91 bar, enabling longer pumping distances and higher elevations.

The 1405 D Classic features Putzmeister’s signature German-engineered S-Valve technology, known for handling even the most abrasive and difficult concrete mixes. The S-Valve, made from thick-walled cast steel, ensures smooth switching, reduced wear, and extended life. Automatic wear ring compensation and a sealed wear ring help minimise downtime and reduce concrete bleeding and blockages.

This machine is designed with the operator in mind. Its simplified control panel, ergonomically placed features, and compact design allow for easy transport, operation, and maintenance. The redesigned smart hopper has a capacity of approximately 600 litres and allows for easier cleaning and reduced daily maintenance, further enhancing site efficiency.

Beyond performance, the 1405 D Classic is positioned as a smart investment. Long-life components, low maintenance needs, and strong resale value make it cost-effective over its lifecycle. The pump is backed by Putzmeister’s extensive support network, including more than 40 sales offices, 45 service locations, and 23 parts warehouses across India.

This latest offering reinforces Putzmeister’s reputation for delivering durable, high-performance concrete pumping solutions that meet the evolving needs of India’s construction industry. With the 1405 D Classic, the company continues to blend German engineering with Indian resilience—ensuring projects keep moving, pour after pour.
